A must or Must not

Hi to all my watchers and others who cares about me. I think it's time for me voice out something that you and I will be needing in the future. What I meant is, about things happening in Deviantart Community right now.

To be clear with everyone, I love deviantart since it's a combination of Facebook and Conceptart or Pixiv and to be honest, I found much artistic freedom in here than the other sites. Well some policies here in Deviantart are not for some artist who likes explicit but for plain artworks, this will be a recommended site.

We all are having fun submitting artworks, exposing, gaining popularity or fame and friends on which that's why this site has everything upon it. You just have to play the game fair in able to survive or not get a ban. Of course, growth of popularity is home for Fans and Haters. This is something to deal with since this not only involves your reputation in deviantart but to also will affect your emotional view. Some treat Cyber Friends as real friends so if you're that type, be sure to pick your friends right or you will regret having them in the future if they become plastic on you.

Report Deviant Button

Do you think it's recommended to have this button somewhere in our page in able for us to report a following deviant? You think so? Well I do think we need it. I really hate that we are limited for our own safety here in deviantart. I love the site but can we be more secured when it comes to things we make? Everyone can infringe our copyright because we have less security of things we submit. So do you think it's a must to give this as part of the option?

This deviant in the picture is not only stealing my art but also harassing me.



As you can see from the image above, the deviant @StupidArtThief had been stealing my artworks and harassing me in his Journal. Isn't it a double strike?

What should I do, Ahh, I got an idea, why don't we click that button under the llama. The <!>Report Deviant button. Check the top right corner of his page on my browser view.



If you click that button, this will lead you to a page where you can have more option to report the following deviant for foul things s/he doing.

Here's what the page looks like....



On this you can choose things you want to report the deviant for. If you believe the deviant is harassing you, click Harassing and Abuse, if you think the deviant impersonating someone, click Account Impersonation.

For this case, I since most of my art had been robbed than being harass, I will have to report him for Copyright Infringement. When this is done, the entire gallery is examined instead of just an art. If the entire gallery is to believe to be infringing copyright, the person will get banned.

After putting things you need, add additional details and get ready to submit it.



When done, click the submit report button to submit it directly to the deviantart staff responsible for all reports.

Awww, Fella Blushes for the first time, cute ain't it? Well that's what you supposed to see after you submit a report, something that thank you for helping keeping the community safe.

Once you report a person, that person is page blocked on your account meaning, the person cannot see your account or you seeing his account and won't be able to reply to any comments you made around deviantart. If you go to his page or he go to your page, both of you will see this warning...



So whatever you do, you and that person cannot see each other just like facebook xDD

So did I all give you an idea about how <!>Report Deviant will look like but the question is? Will this work for our own security means? I don't think it would be great since people abuses this feature. I saw many people on facebook or youtube abuse this feature and only few survive but mostly, everyone is safe unlike deviantart on which is unsafe.

So people, should it be a must or must not?
